Metro, the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive looks after public transport issues on behalf of the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authoriity, which in turn is made up of councillors from the five metropolitan authorities that make up the West Yorshire area.

Northern Rail is the Train Operating Company which operates our trains, and local services across the north of England covering the area between Chester and Newcastle, and the Cumbrian Coast to North Lincolnshire.
